Le Zapping de Canal+
The word ZAPPER tends to be used in a familiar context when we forget something:
Ex. J’ai zappé un truc. (I forgot something.)
But it can also mean – and maybe you know that already – to change TV channels.
Ex. Y a rien sur cette chaîne, zappe! (There’s nothing on that channel, change it!)
There’s actually a very famous TV feature on French channel CANAL+, called LE ZAPPING. It allows you to catch a glimpse on what’s going on in the world, just in a few minutes, using little bits and pieces seen on various channels. Check it out! It might be a bit hard for some of you to understand though since it goes pretty fast! But here it is, just click on the picture below!
