About the Program

The idea of this French for Travelers web series is to help you learn some French in a fun, entertaining way. Soso and Lili, along with their sexy assistants, will teach you French – sans boredom!

Soraya Garre & Celia Diane

Hosted by Soraya Garré and Célia Diane,

with the pedagogical advice of Marielle Bruant-Carlson.

Danny Pardo & Farhan KhanEach webisode is about 10 minutes and includes a little “hello” introduction, a theme (could be “how to introduce oneself”, “how to pick up a girl/guy”) with new words of vocabulary each time, (a) scene illustration(s) of the lesson taught, and a little fun conclusion/goodbye sequence.

The vocabulary taught includes both common words used in eSoraya Garrevery day life and more “funky” words such as slang/familiar words, which usually everybody wants to know about but never learns unless you actually go abroad and get into interesting situations. The vocabulary relevant to the theme of each show is listed, in the transcripts of the shows and in the workbook.

Celia DianeThroughout the various webisodes, you get to follow the adventures of Soso, Lili & Co. The audience sees them facing challenges, follows their romantic experiences (good and bad)… sees them go through life as the lessons slowly turn into a fun webisode.

The originality of the show lies in its funny, unconventional and dynamic approach to teaching languages!
